Colchester Councillors Donate Foodbank's Christmas Appeal

COLCHESTER – Kind-hearted Shrub End councillor Lyn Barton organises a collection for Colchester Foodbank every year.
Colchester councillors attending the full council meeting donated items to the collection.
Ms Barton said it was good to see councillors working together and contributing to the cause.
She said: “There was a great cross-party response. It’s good to show a united front on important issues.
“It’s the fifth year I’ve done this, it always makes me think of those struggling and those not with families at Christmas. It was a sobering moment.”
