Energy Debt

Our Energy Advice Service is dedicated to helping combat fuel poverty and provides one-to-one advice and support to people experiencing difficulties with their energy costs or who are at risk of fuel poverty. 

The E.ON Energy Fund has been set up to help customers of any energy company who are struggling to pay their bills, and who live in England, Scotland or Wales.

The npower Energy Fund offers grants to domestic customers of npower to clear gas and/or electricity arrears if the client first demonstrates their commitment to achieving financial stability by making regular payments over a three month period for ongoing usage.

Energy Projects plus is an independent social enterprise and registered environmental charity that has been in operation since 1995. Energy Projects Plus works with a variety of partners to help deliver projects that focus on improving domestic energy efficiency and reducing fuel poverty. 

The EDF Energy Trust helps families and individuals living in fuel poverty, suffering or other distress who are struggling to pay their gas and/or electricity bill by awarding grants to clear those debts. 

The British Gas Energy Trust, which incorporates the Scottish Gas Energy Trust, is an independent Charitable Trust established in 2004. The Trust contributes to the relief of poverty, with a particular focus on fuel poverty, helping those who are struggling to pay for their consumption of gas and electricity get back on their feet and remain debt free going forward.
