Anxiety UK is a national registered charity (number 1113403) (company number 5551121) formed in 1970 by someone living with agoraphobia for those affected by anxiety disorders. Today we are still a user-led organisation, run by people with experience of living with anxiety or anxiety-based depression, supported by a high-profile medical advisory panel.
Health in Mind is run by Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust in partnership with Colchester Mind. Together we use our expertise to offer a wide range of talking treatments (sometimes called 'psychological therapies') to help people with a variety of different mental health problems. We help people living in and around Colchester and Tendring with a variety of different mental health problems, such as:

Ampersand is here to support and assist men who have been sexually abused in childhood or as adults.
Ampersand provides a confidential face to face counselling service to men who have been sexually abused or sexually assaulted either as children or adults.It offers a safe and confidential space where mens' voices can be heard.
Qualified counsellors will listen to their concerns offering a supportive environment that assists them through the counselling process.It is hoped that through this process they will be empowered to improve their quality of life and find a way forward to a more positive future.
