Thérèse Coffey, work and pensions secretary; and Julian Smith, Northern Ireland secretary are rumoured to be in-line for demotion.
The list of Cabinet ministers said to be in danger includes Andrea Leadsom, business secretary; Theresa Villiers, environment secretary; Liz Truss, international trade secretary; and Jacob Rees-Mogg, the leader of the House of Commons. Others who could be demoted are: Ben Wallace, defence secretary;
