Universal Credit In The News
Wednesday 17 October, 2018 Written by IoDLots of coverage too in today’s papers about the latest delay to Universal Credit, with most papers concluding the decision to pause the project for a further few months has been taken to avoid a Tory rebellion in the Commons. The Times’ Sam Coates says the decision has cost taxpayers a cool £100 million in lost savings. Labour will today use an opposition day debate to try to force ministers to publish key internal documents about the project.
