Lots of coverage too in today’s papers about the latest delay to Universal Credit, with most papers concluding the decision to pause the project for a further few months has been taken to avoid a Tory rebellion in the Commons. The Times’ Sam Coates says the decision has cost taxpayers a cool £100 million in lost savings. Labour will today use an opposition day debate to try to force ministers to publish key internal documents about the project.
