Dozens of Disabled People In Stoke-On-Trent Being 'Unfairly Denied Benefits'

It follows concerns that increasing numbers of people in Stoke-on-Trent are having their applications for Personal Independence Payments (PIP) rejected. Both Potteries-based Disability Solutions and Unite Community claim they have 100 per cent records for overturning these decisions at tribunal – often many months after the original assessments.Campaigners say scores of people are being unfairly denied PIP.
