US Unemployment Creeps Up

BBC Reports - New data just out in the US shows that weekly jobless claims rose by 11,000 to 234,000 compared to the 220,000-total expected.
Claims remain below the 300,000 mark, which is associated with a strong jobs market, for 168 consecutive weeks - the longest such stretch since 1969.
